The venue Les Jardins de l'Anjou is located in the village La Pommeraye, between Angers and Nantes.

To reach the venue by public transportation:

From Nantes Atlantique airport, you will have two options:

1. A shuttle to Les Jardins de l’Anjou will be organised once there enough participants requesting a ride at a similar time frame (see below under 'Ride Sharing').

2. Take the regular airport shuttle to Nantes railway station and then the regional train (TER) in the direction of Angers. There are 5 TER services on Saturday: 7:16am, 11:47am, 12:12pm, 17:06pm and 18:16pm. Get off the train at Champtocé sur Loire: at this point, you will be 5 km from the conference venue and a shuttle will bring you the rest of the way on the condition that you have booked it in advance.

From Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport, there is a high-speed train (TGV) passing through Angers Saint Laud. Please be aware that on the TGV service, a seat reservation is mandatory: http://www.voyages-sncf.com (travel time 2h30).
If the TGV schedule for Angers Saint Laud doesn't correspond well with your arrival time at Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport, you can take the suburban train RER B (travel time 50 minutes) or the airport shuttle bus: www.lebusdirect.com/lignes-horaires/ligne-cdg-aeroport-paris-gare-montparnasse.html  (travel time 70 to 80 minutes) to the destination of Montparnasse railway station in Paris.

From Paris Orly Airport, there is a regular shuttle bus to Montparnasse railway station in Paris (travel time is between 20 to 30 minutes). From there, you take the high speed train (TGV) to Angers Saint Laud railway station: http://www.lebusdirect.com/lignes.../ligne-orly-aeroport-paris-etoile-champs-elysees.html.

From Montparnasse railway station in Paris, there is an hourly high-speed train (TGV) through Angers Saint Laud railway station (travel time 1h30). Advance seat reservations on the TGV are mandatory: http://www.voyages-sncf.com.

From Angers, you have two options:

    - A shuttle to Les Jardins de l’Anjou will be organised once there enough participants requesting a ride at a similar time frame (see below under 'Ride Sharing').
    - Take the regional train (TER) in the direction of Nantes and get off the train at Champtocé sur Loire. There are 3 TER services on Saturday: 8:31am, 12:39pm and 18:10pm. Once at Champocé sur Loire, you will be 5 km from the conference venue and a shuttle will bring you the rest of the way on the condition that you have booked it in advance.


RIDE-SHARING

SHUTTLES AND TAXI SHARING
Participants wanting a shuttle from Angers St. Laud railway station or Nantes Atlantique Airport must register their:

  1. Name 
  2. Departure point
  3. Date
  4. Time
  5. Number of people,

    on the GIC event site of Ridevu.com under the option Request a Ride:

Once there are 6 passengers registered for a similar time, we can arrange for them to be shuttled to the conference venue.

The price for this service is €15 from Angers Saint Laud and €37 from Nantes Atlantique to be paid in cash to the driver.
(If there are more passengers for the same shuttle, the price will be reduced.)
On the same website you can request a shuttle for your return after the GIC.
Click on ‘Include a ride back’.


If there are not enough participants requesting a shuttle for a similar time frame, they will be contacted and invited to register on the GIC event site of Ridevu.com under the option Share a Taxi  (e.g. for those arriving late or leaving GIC early). 
Participants should then organize amongst themselves and book their taxi.
Taxi company phone numbers and fixed prices per ride will be made available by the middle of July.

THERE ARE NO SHUTTLES TO THE VENUE FROM PARIS, ONLY RETURN SHUTTLES POST GIC
On Saturday August 4th, in the afternoon, there will be shuttle buses going to Paris CDG and Paris Porte d’Italie on the condition that there will be a sufficient number of bookings.
For this service, you must register on the GIC event site of Ridevu.com under the option Request a Ride, and go straight to ‘Include a ride back’. 

The price is €50 depending on the number of passengers. The bus ride to Paris Porte d’Italie takes approx. 3h30 and to Paris CDG 4h.

PARTICIPANTS OFFERING A RIDE
Participants coming by car can post available places using the link below under the option Offer a Ride.
Those wanting a seat in a car can make their request under the option Request a Ride.
The amount for the ride sharing will be decided amongst the participants.

To reach the conference venue by road:

From Nantes via the A11 motorway (approx. 1h10):
Leave Nantes by the A11 motorway taking the direction Paris/Angers.
Take Exit 19 in the direction of Chalonnes sur Loire until you arrive in Saint Germain des Prés.
After driving through Saint Germain des Prés, take the D723 road until Montjean and cross the Loire river at Mauges sur Loire.
Drive into town and then take a left turn to Chemin de Vaujou; the conference venue is located at number 9, Les Jardins de l’Anjou.

From Paris (approx. 3h30 drive) or from Angers (approx. 30 min):
Take the A11 motorway when coming from Paris or from Angers and drive in the direction of Nantes until Exit 19.
At Exit 19, take the direction of Chalonnes sur Loire and then Saint Germain des Prés.
After driving through Saint Germain des Prés, take the D723 road until Montjean and cross the Loire river at Mauges sur Loire.
Drive into town and then take a left turn to Chemin de Vaujou, the conference venue is located at number 9, Les Jardins de l’Anjou.
