Share your views and shape the future direction of the IBF

Please complete our online survey. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes and is your chance to shape the future direction of the IBF! The survey is available in English, Spanish & French. Click on the relevant link below to begin.

The survey will be live until Friday 23 June. All survey responses will be treated confidentially and results will only be shared anonymously, even if individuals provide personal information or make themselves identifiable in other ways.

Please pass on the survey link within your Conscious Breathing / Breathwork community, both practitioners working with the breath in any form and interested individuals. Let's find out how big our global community is and how to best nurture and grow it!

WHY are we doing this SURVEY?

In order to help us set the future direction of the IBF and define new IBF activities, services or products, we are seeking a better understanding of the needs of the wider Conscious Breathing / Breathwork community and how the IBF can better meet these needs going forward. We also want to learn how we can more effectively deliver our wider mission of promoting Conscious Breathing and Breathwork worldwide to the benefit of humans and the planet.

We have therefore launched some market research and would love your participation and support.

HOW will the SURVEY RESULTS be used?

The survey results will be shared with our members, Newsletter subscribers as well as survey participants who have provided their email address for this purpose. All IBF members are invited to make proposals for the future IBF direction and activities at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Austria 4th-11th August 2017.

The International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) is a non-profit global network established in 1994, open to everyone interested in the use of Conscious Breathing and Breathwork for health, well-being and personal growth. Our membership includes breath practitioners, organisations and training schools as well as interested individuals from 33 countries worldwide. Run by volunteers, the IBF offers the possibility to its members to creatively participate in a global network that promotes and honours the breath as a transformational tool. A Global Inspiration Conference (GIC) is organised annually by the IBF and is hosted in a different country each year. The conference is an opportunity to exchange views, teach, learn and receive inspiration. The programme features presentations, workshops and other activities, all offered in the spirit of peer-group exchange. During the conference, the IBF holds its Annual General Meeting.

The breadth and depth of experience within the organisation has brought IBF to look towards further developing its role as an ambassador for Breathwork in the world. As a global network, the internet and advances in communication technology have allowed us to connect and collaborate more effectively during the year between the annual GIC conferences. Further, we have seen our growth reflected in the achievement of Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in July 2016. This allows us to explore the potential for making connections with government bodies and NGOs.
